Otvoren Konkurs za dodelu stipendija srednjoškolcima romske nacionalnosti

Ministarstvo prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja raspisuje Konkurs za dodelu stipendija učenicima romske nacionalnosti upisanih u srednje škole za školsku 2020/2021. godinu.

U okviru projekta „EU podrška romskim učenicima za nastavak srednjoškolskog obrazovanja“, koji se finansira iz sredstava Instrumenta pretpristupne pomoći Evropske unije kroz IPA 2014 direktni grant, a koji realizuje Ministarstvo prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja, objavljuje se konkurs za dodelu stipendija učenicima romske nacionalnosti koji redovno pohađaju trogodišnje i četvorogodišnje srednje škole u školskoj 2020/2021. godini.

Prijavu sa potrebnom konkursnom dokumentacijom učenik podnosi u srednjoj školi u koju je upisan.

Rok za prijavljivanje na Konkurs je do 30. septembra 2020. godine.

„Mladi treba dobro da razmisle pri izboru svoje profesije, kako bi sutra imali bolju priliku da nađu zaposlenje u Srbiji, ali i van nje. Ta diploma jeste bitna za zaposlenje, ali nije i najbitnija. Moraš da nastaviš da radiš na sebi. Moraš još neke dodatne stvari da naučiš, kao što je rad na računaru i slično. Dobro je obrazovati se, Romi treba da se obrazuju, ali sama diploma ne znači da ne treba stalno da napreduješ i stičeš dodatne veštine.“

Željko je osnovnu, i srednju Mašinsku školu završio u Vršcu. Pravni fakultet upisao je u Novom Sadu i tokom studija bio stipendista RMUSP programa Fonda za obrazovanje Roma. Nakon završenog fakulteta, u okviru projekta „Pospešivanje zapošljivosti mladih Roma i Romkinja – faza 2“, Željko je obavio pripravnički staž u advokatskoj kancelariji. Trenutno se priprema za polaganje pravosudnog ispita i angažovan je kao saradnik romske redakcije Radija televizije Vojvodina.

Odrastavši sa mlađim bratom, mamom i bakom u teškim uslovima za život, Željko ističe kako ništa nije moglo da ugrozi njegovu želju za obrazovanjem. Učio je, nekada bez svetla, sa upaljenom svećom, jer je imao samo jedan cilj – da njegovo dete ima bolji život. Ipak, kaže da je on svoj cilj uspeo da ostvari, jer je imao podršku onda kada mu je bila potrebna. Tako je još kao osnovac, školski pribor zatražio u Centru za socijalni rad. Socijalni radnik na kog je tada naišao, nastavio je da ga podržava sve do kraja studija na Pravnom fakultetu.

„Čovek mi je pomogao. Ima ljudi i koji ne žele da pomognu, ali ne možemo da odustanemo kod prve prepreke. Pomoć koju sam ja dobijao od tog čoveka mi je mnogo značila. I sve to zato što sam pokucao na vrata i rekao: „Treba mi pomoć.“ Gurajte dalje, pokušavajte, pokucajte i na više vrata, samo nemojte da se povlačite i odustajete.“

Tokom svog obrazovanja, Željko je naučio da se bori. Kaže da je možda pogrešio što nakon srednje Mašinske škole nije upisao Mašinski fakultet, jer bi se danas možda lakše zaposlio u struci – a nakon završenog Pravnog fakulteta, uvideo je da poseduje jaku teorijsku osnovu, ali da mu nedostaje praksa. Zapravo je najviše naučio tokom svog pripravničkog staža u advokatskoj kancelariji u okviru projekta „Pospešivanje zapošljivosti mladih Roma i Romkinja – faza 2“. Dodaje da je upravo pripravništvo ono što stvara advokata.

„Moje zanimanje je rešavanje problema, jer pravnici su tu da bi rešili problem. Planiram da položim pravosudni ispit, i da se zatim posvetim zaštiti prava Roma, i ljudskih prava uopšte. Na raspolaganju sam svojoj zajednici u potpunosti, jer smatram da je to moja dužnost. Želim da doprinesem tome da Romi budu vidljiviji i poštovaniji u društvu.“

Zorana Stanojević (19 godina)

„Kada nešto volite, ništa vam nije teško i nemoguće. Sve može da se uskladi. Ja sam uglavnom noću učila. Od malih nogu sam slušala kako je obrazovanje važno, posebno za nas Rome. Mi moramo da se istaknemo svojim obrazovanjem i da verujemo u sebe – pokažemo prvo sebi da možemo da postignemo više, pa onda i ostalima koji imaju predrasude o nama. Ako damo sve od sebe, rezultat je neizostavan.“

Zorana živi sa babom, dedom, tatom, mamom i sestrom. Završila je srednju Medicinsku školu, smer laboratorijski tehničar, a upisala Fakultet za specijalnu edukaciju i rehabilitaciju Univerziteta u Beogradu. Dvanaest godina se bavi plesom, a nekoliko godina već drži časove u plesnoj školi za decu i mlade različitog uzrasta. Objašnjava kako svakog dana uviđa napredak kod svojih polaznika, zbog čega je i odlučila da upiše baš Fakultet za specijalnu edukaciju i rehabilitaciju, smatrajući da će nakon završenog fakulteta imati prilike da još veći broj dece i mladih motiviše da rade na sebi, trude se i napreduju.

Nakon završene srednje Medicinske škole, Zorana je odlučila da napravi pauzu od godinu dana, kako bi imala dovoljno vremena da odluči koji fakultet će upisati. Istovremeno, tokom tih godinu dana, obavila je pripravnički staž u okviru projekta „Pospešivanje zapošljivosti mladih Roma i Romkinja – faza 2“, a takođe i položila državni ispit i stekla licencu za rad. Svoje studije na Fakultetu za specijalnu edukaciju i rehabilitaciju, Zorana će započeti u oktobru, uporedo će potražiti posao laboratorijskog tehničara, a vikendom će držati časove plesa deci i mladima. Iako joj roditelji govore da nema potrebe da radi, već da se u potpunosti posveti učenju, Zorana želi da doprinese kućnom budžetu – jednostavno zato što može.

„Tokom stažiranja sam jako dobro naučila da vadim krv. Imala sam priliku da radim i na biohemiji i na hematologiji i na mikrobiologiji. Naučila sam da koristim nove aparate, koje u školi nismo imali. Iznad svega, uvidela sam da jako dobro mogu da komuniciram sa pacijentima, posebno imajući u vidu da je Ortopedija Banjica bila KOVID bolnica dok sam ja stažirala.“

Kada završi fakultet, Zorana planira da otvori Centar za rehabilitaciju, u kom bi mogla da se bavi svim onim što voli. Spojila bi zdravstvo i ples, radila kao logoped, a ples koristila kao metod za poboljšanje motoričkih sposobnosti dece. Zorana bi u tom poslu uživala, a upravo ljubav prema poslu je za nju najvažnija.

„Uvek sam želela da učim, radim na sebi, budem bolja i među boljima. Nisam želela da brukam sebe, a ni svoju porodicu. Želela sam da završim dobru školu.“

Milica Šajn sa mamom i bakom živi u Ravnom selu u blizini opštine Vrbas. Završila je Visoku školu strukovnih studija za obrazovanje vaspitača u Novom Sadu i dodatak za jaslice. Izabrala je baš ovu profesiju jer ima dugogodišnje volontersko iskustvo u radu sa decom, koje je prethodilo upisivanju Visoke škole.

Miličino prvo radno iskustvo se takođe odnosilo na rad sa decom, i to u okviru programa za inkluziju socijalno-ekonomski ugrožene dece, koji je sprovodio Crveni krst. Svojim radom je doprinela upisivanju 30-oro dece u predškolske ustanove i osnovne škole.

„Tokom studija sam vodila program i pratila napredak dece od njihove druge do njihove šeste godine, odnosno polaska u predškolsko. Prepodne sam radila, a popodne sam išla na predavanja i vežbe. Morala sam nekako da zaradim da bih mogla da kupim knjige i skripte.“

Pričajući o prijemnom ispitu za Visoku školu, Milica se priseća kako nije imala laptop niti računar da bi proverila rezultate. Mesec dana nakon prijemnog ispita, drugarica joj je javila da je na listi primljenih studenata, i to onih čije se studije finansiraju iz budžeta.

„Uvek sam želela da učim, radim na sebi, budem bolja i među boljima. Nisam želela da brukam sebe, a ni svoju porodicu. Želela sam da završim dobru školu.“

Milica je nakon završenih osnovnih studija upisala i dodatak za jaslice koji traje godinu dana. Nakon toga je odmah započela obavljanje pripravničkog staža u vrtiću „Duga“ i završila ga u aprilu, tokom trajanja vanrednog stanja u Republici Srbiji. Želja joj je bila da REF Srbija tim prisustvuje njenom polaganju državnog ispita, kako bi videli koliko je napredovala i šta je naučila tokom obavljanja pripravničkog staža u okviru projekta „Pospešivanje zapošljivosti mladih Roma i Romkinja – faza 2“. Milica duboko veruje da je najbolji način da zahvalnost na pruženoj podršci i prilici za obavljanje pripravničkog staža u okviru projekta pokaže svojim uspesima i postignućima.

 „Žao mi je što nije bilo mogućnosti da se prisustvuje polaganju ispita, posebno zato što sam bila pohvaljena od strane komisije. A još više mi je žao što smo tih meseci sa decom radili onlajn. Već dugo pre vanrednog stanja smo ih pripremali za školu i deca su se dosta trudila i napredovala. Na kraju nisu imala ni završnu priredbu kako dolikuje.“

Milica bi najviše želela da se zaposli u vrtiću u kom je i obavila pripravnički staž, bez obzira na uzrast dece sa kojom bi radila. Do tada joj zadovoljstvo pričinjavaju pohvale roditelja dece sa kojom je radila, a koje sreće u Ravnom selu, kao i saznanje da deci nedostaje Milica vaspitačica.

Akreditovane obuke za mentore odobrene od strane ministra prosvete

U okviru srednjoškolskog stipendijskog i mentorskog programa, REF Srbija nastavlja sa mentorskim obukama profesora u srednjim školama sa ciljem smanjenja stope napuštanja obrazovanja, poboljšanja akademskih postignuća i broja diplomiranih romskih srednjoškolaca. Obuka za mentore iz Centralne Srbije je održana ove nedelje, a tokom septembra će biti organizovane i obuke za mentore iz Vojvodine i Južne Srbije.

– Mentori učenika su profesori, pedagozi, psiholozi koji su zaposleni u školama koje stipendisti pohađaju i koji su od strane direktora škole imenovani za rad sa učenicima. Cilj rada sa ovom grupom srednjoškolaca jeste da se smanji procenat odustajanja od školovanja, što je uspešno i urađeno jer je procenat odustajanja sa 7 smanjen na 2.4 odsto. Sama tranzicija iz osnovne u srednju školu je za sve učenike teška, a posebno za učenike koji su pripadnici manjinskih i osetljivih grupa – objašnjava Zorana Tomić, koordinatorka za srednjoškolski stipendijski i mentorski program.

Profesori postaju mentori nakon završenih obuka za mentore pod nazivom Mentorska podrška učenicima srednjih škola romske nacionalnosti u uspešnom završavanju škole. Obuke za mentore se sastoje iz tri modula, akreditovanih od strane Zavoda za unapređenje obrazovanja i vaspitanja – prvi modul se naziva Uvod u ulogu mentora, drugi modul Mentorska praksa sa učenikom i treći modul Mentorska podrška učenicima srednjih škola romske nacionalnosti za sticanje kompetencija za 21. vek. Sva tri modula su dostupna u „Priručniku za mentore“, koji Predstavništvo fonda za obrazovanje Roma trenutno priprema.

Obuke imaju za cilj da pruže kontinuiranu i sveobuhvatnu podršku mentorima, kao i da ojačaju njihove kompetencije za pružanje odgovarajućih vidova podrške učenicima romske nacionalnosti koji pohađaju srednje škole. Na kraju svake od ovih obuka mentor dobija određena iskustva, veštine i alate za rad.

– Potrebe koje prepoznajem kod učenika uglavnom se odnose na podršku u učenju. Reč je često o deficitu znanja sa kojim upisuju srednju školu. U tom slučaju, uključujem ih u dopunsku nastavu, izrađujem zajedno sa njima plan rada i radimo na odabiru odgovarajućih strategija u učenju. Takođe, utičem na podizanje motivacije za učenjem, jer je često razlog njihovog slabog uspeha nedostatak samopouzdanja. Potrebno je širiti pedagoški optimizam i pomoći da ostvare svoj pun potencijal – istakla je Branka Oreščanin, pedagog Škole za negu lepote u Beogradu.

Podrška koju mentori pružaju učenicima romske nacionalnosti obuhvata individualan i/ili grupni rad sa učenicima, praćenje njihovog napretka i redovnog pohađanja nastave, komunikaciju sa roditeljima ali i uključivanje učenika u vannastavne aktivnosti kao i pružanje podrške u prevazilaženju bilo kojih izazova na koje naiđu.

Otvoren poziv za konsultanta/kinju: Monitor na terenu

Rok za prijave: 5. jul

REF traži 3 (tri) monitora na terenu za južnu, centralnu i severnu Srbiju, koji imaju zadatak da uspostave saradnju sa lokalnom romskom zajednicom u cilju motivisanja mladih Roma i Romkinja da aktivno učestvuju na tržištu rada. Radi se o kratkoročnom konsultantskom angažmanu u okviru projekta „Pospešivanje zapošljivosti mladih Roma i Romkinja – faza 2“ koji se sprovodi u Republici Srbiji, uz podršku programa Nemačke finansijske saradnje koji implementira Nemačka razvojna banka KfW u ime Vlade Republike Nemačke – Ministarstva za ekonomsku saradnju i razvoj. Monitori na terenu bi služili kao veza između romske zajednice i projektnog tima REF-a.

 

Call for Consultancy: Field Monitor

Project “Employment Empowerment of Young Roma – Phase II”

Positions: 3 (1 South Serbia, 1 Central Serbia and 1 North Serbia)

Background

The Roma Education Fund’s (REF) mission and ultimate goal is to close the gap in educational outcomes between Roma and non-Roma. In order to achieve this goal, the organization supports policies and programs which ensure quality education for Roma through scholarships, grant making and advocacy activities.

The objectives of REF include:

  • Expanding Romani children’s access to quality early childhood education and care;
  • Improving primary education outcomes for Romani children aged six to fourteen;
  • Boosting academic performance and graduation rates from secondary education for Romani pupils;
  • Supporting access to tertiary education, improving graduation levels and strengthening identity of Romani university students;
  • Expanding employment opportunities for young Romani adults.

The overall objective of the KfW Project “Employment Empowerment of Young Roma – Phase II” is to support social inclusion of Roma (both domicile Roma and Roma failed asylum seekers/returnees) in Serbian society, though increased graduation rate of Roma secondary school and university students and their facilitation into the labor market. The project contributes to social cohesion through increased education attainment and improved employability of Roma children and youth, as well as foster cross-country and regional dialogue and knowledge transfer.

Objective

REF seeks 3 (three) Field Monitors for south, central and north Serbia tasked to establish cooperation with local Roma community in order to motivate young Roma to take active part in the labor market. This is a short-term consultancy engagement within the frame of the Project “Employment Empowerment of Young Roma – Phase II” implemented in the Republic of Serbia funded by the German Financial Cooperation implemented by KfW on behalf of the German Government – Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Field monitors should serve as the link between Roma community and REF Project Team.

Duties and responsibilities

Selected Field Monitors under the direct supervision and guidance of the Employment Officers and Program Manager are expected to undertake the following tasks:

  • Establish direct relations with the Roma students and community members willing to advance their employment skills and be able to advance their skills and competencies in the labour market within the Project “Employment Empowerment of Young Roma – Phase II”;
  • Organize field visits to respective municipalities (once a month) and reporting to the Project Officers and Program Manager;
  • Collect data about the most deficit employment trends and report to the Project Officers and Program Manager;
  • Mediate challenges faced by the local Roma youth and organize focus groups on topics identified by the local community and field monitor;
  • Liaise with interns supported by REF and report about their progress to Project Officers and Program Manager;
  • Map relevant public and corporate agencies in the field interested in working with REF;
  • Providing support to all beneficiaries in urgent situations;
  • Report on readmitted Roma youth and families in Serbia;
  • Provide regular monthly reports on his/her achievements to the Project Officers and Program Manager;
  • Notify REF on matters that require urgent response without delay;
  • Perform other related work-related duties, as assigned, including cooperation with other REF programs;
  • Participate in all meetings and events organized by REF.

Deliverable:

Field Monitors are expected to deliver regular monthly reports to REF Project Officers and Program Manager stating progress performed in the field.

Travel requirements:

  • Frequent travels nationally is expected;

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree/BA or equivalent degree with relevant years of experience and /or training, or combination of secondary education and experience;
  • Work experience with business orientation and employability;
  • NGO experience and previous experience in working with Roma community is essential;
  • Experience and competencies in working in a multicultural environment;
  • Experience in project monitoring and evaluation tools (M&E) is a plus;

Skills required

  • Working efficiently in fast-paced environment troubleshooting and following activities though their successful completion with strict deadlines and with attention to details;
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Efficiently work as a team member, as well as independently, with a high level of self-motivation and ability to set and met goals;
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the employment regulations and education systems in Serbia and the level of inclusion of Roma in the labour market;
  • Good knowledge of key organizations and employment networks active in the field;

REF seeks 1 (one) Program Financial Administrator tasked to ensure proper project financial administration and program related documents submission and archiving. This is fix-term engagement within the Project “Employment Empowerment of Young Roma – Phase II” implemented in the Republic of Serbia funded by the German Financial Cooperation implemented by KfW on behalf of the German Government – Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Program Financial Administrator should serve as a support to the Project management.

Duties and responsibilities

Selected Program Financial Administrator under the direct supervision and guidance of the Financial Manager and Program Manager is expected to undertake the following tasks:

 

  • Collect, sort and archive financial documents;
  • Upload financial documentation on the dedicated internal platform;
  • Checking invoices, statements and contracts;
  • Supporting preparation of the financial statements, reports and requests;
  • Providing budget information to the program staff;
  • Supporting preparation of the audits;
  • Petty Cash handling;
  • Scanning, printing and saving program financial documentation;
  • Communicate and collaborate with bookkeeper;
  • Communicate with banks, vendors and public institutions;
  • Providing support to program staff;
  • Notify REF on matters that require urgent response without delay;
  • Perform other related work-related duties;
  • Participate in all meetings and events organized by REF.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree/BA or equivalent degree with relevant years of experience and /or training, or combination of secondary education and experience;

Background

The Roma Education Fund’s (REF) mission and ultimate goal is to close the gap in educational outcomes between Roma and non-Roma. In order to achieve this goal, the organization supports policies and programs which ensure quality education for Roma through scholarships, grant making and advocacy activities.

The objectives of REF include:

  • Expanding Romani youth’s access to quality education and employability;
  • Boosting academic performance and graduation rates from secondary education for Romani pupils;
  • Supporting access to tertiary education, improving graduation levels and strengthening identity of Romani university students;
  • Improving Romani youth’s knowledge of the job market and required employment skills;
  • Expanding employment opportunities for young Romani adults.

The overall objective of the Project “Employment Empowerment of Young Roma – Phase II” funded by the German Financial Cooperation implemented by KfW on behalf of the German Government – Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development “Employment Empowerment of Young Roma – Phase II” is to support social inclusion of Roma (both domicile Roma and Roma failed asylum seekers/returnees) in Serbian society, though increased graduation rate of Roma secondary school and university students and their facilitation into the labor market. The project contributes to social cohesion through increased education attainment and improved employability of Roma children and youth, as well as foster cross-country and regional dialogue and knowledge transfer.

Objective

The school/agency will be tasked with improving English, German, Serbian and Roma language skills for readmitted youth and to develop tailor-made courses for the increase of employability/job related skills of young Roma in Serbia. The purpose of these courses is to improve the employability of young Roma in Belgrade, Nis and Novi Sad. The core skills covered by the language courses are to be business communication, career coaching and translation techniques, aiming to increase the competitiveness of the young Roma in the labor market. The school/agency will also provide service of professional orientation in order to help Romani youth to make the best professional choices according to their capabilities.

Duties and responsibilities

School/agency, under direct supervision of the Employment Officers and Program Manager is expected to undertake the following tasks:

  • Using the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment, abbreviated in English as CEFR or CEF or CEFRL as a guideline to describe achievements of learners of foreign languages;
  • Providing a friendly environment that appreciates diversity and offers a respectful approach;
  • Providing quality education in the courses organized, planned and delivered by properly qualified teachers;
  • Ability to provide services in at least one of the above-mentioned locations;
  • Organizing courses according to COVID-19 safety measures and recommended precautions;
  • Providing professional orientation skills (CV writing skills, applying online for a job position, filling up the Europass CV, etc.);
  • Providing basic training on the translation techniques and referring interested students to the relevant translation agencies/associations;
  • Planning and creating the syllabus for the specific courses in line with the skills, interests and capabilities of the attendees, planned duration and cultural sensitivity;
  • Providing multiple levels for the courses, according to the attendees’ skills and appraised knowledge/skill levels;
  • Providing adequate space and learning material in the school/agency premises and/or online learning if required;
  • Conducting mandatory entry testing, testing during the courses (if so planned) and mandatory final testing;
  • Issuing certificates of knowledge valid in the entire territory of the Republic of Serbia;
  • Ensuring careful monitoring of the students’ progress and detailed reporting to the REF on a regular basis;
  • Providing dedicated project coordinator to maintain lines of communication between students, teachers and REF, technical and attendee support, perform all organization and coordination tasks;
  • Maintaining regular communication with REF during the realization of all described tasks;
  • Provide any other relevant training required to increase employability.

Deliverables

Knowledge gained must be in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and clearly stated in the certificates. Students are to be able to utilize the four language skills in alignment with the level of knowledge they are certified for.  Students’ job application skills are to be improved, and they themselves empowered to seek careers in the fields appropriate for their interests, skills and capabilities. The school/agency is required to submit final report to Employment Officers and to the Program Manager.

Required Experience

  • Qualified staff familiar with minority rights and working with the minority students;
  • Previous track of providing job related/employability skills courses for Romani youth;
  • Proven experience in working with civil society organizations international institutions;
  • Proven organizational and reporting skills;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience related to language services;
  • Advanced computer skills.

U okviru projekta “Pospešivanje zapošljivosti mladih Roma i Romkinja – faza 2”, REF će uspostaviti partnerstva sa četiri lokalne organizacije koje će preuzeti ulogu Habova za zapošljavanje i podsticati akademski, profesionalni i karijerni razvoj romskih studenata i studentkinja i razvijati odnose sa poslodavcima. Habovi za zapošljavanje će biti locirani u četiri regiona u Srbiji i povezivaće se sa agencijama za zapošljavanje i članovima/icama romske zajednice na lokalu. Objective

Starting from 2019, REF implements the Project funded by the German Financial Cooperation implemented by KfW on behalf of the German Government – Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development “Employment Empowerment of Young Roma – Phase II” implemented in the Republic of Serbia. The objectives of the project will be achieved through facilitating access to vocational education and training schools and successfully transitioning into the labour market, fully confident and equipped with soft-technical skills. REF will initiate partnership agreement with the four local organizations who will serve as Employment Hubs and boost academic, professional and career development for Roma students, development of relationship with employers and follow-up of students and young adults after education graduation. Employment Hubs will be placed in four regions in Serbia and will be talked to liaise with employment agencies and local Roma community members.

Duties and responsibilities

National Employment Consultant under the direct supervision and guidance of the Program Manager is expected to undertake the following tasks:

  • Develop, plan and organize activities relate to employment component of the project specifically related to the establishment of the Employment Hubs within the Project “Employment Empowerment of Young Roma – Phase II”;
  • Build and establish strategic relationship with education institutions, employment institutions, authorities and/or other related institutions, partners, NGOs and other field professionals and participate in program and field-related meetings;
  • Organize field visits to Employment Hubs and report to the Project Officers and Program Manager;
  • Keep close relations with beneficiaries in the local level, follow-up heir employment and skills related needs, and provide support to the transition to labour market;
  • Support to maintaining Employment Hubs database and individual portfolios of each beneficiary;
  • Stay abreast of developments in the field of employment and education;
  • Preform site visits to Employment Hubs;
  • Liaise with interns supported by REF and report about their progress to Project Employment Officers and Program Manager;
  • Track readmitted Roma youth and families in Serbia and report to REF Readmission Officer;
  • Provide regular monthly reports on his/her achievements to the Program Manager;
  • Perform other related work-related duties, as assigned, including cooperation with other REF programs;
  • Participate in all meetings and events organized by REF.

Deliverable:

National Employment Consultant is expected to deliver regular monthly report to REF Program Manager stating progress performed in the field.

Travel requirements:

  • Frequent travels nationally is expected;

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree/BA or equivalent degree with relevant years of experience;
  • Work experience with business orientation and employability;
  • NGO experience and previous experience in working with Roma community is essential;
  • Experience and competencies in working in a multicultural environment;
  • Project Grant Management and reporting is considered an asset;
  • Experience in project monitoring and evaluation tools (M&E) is a plus;

Skills required

  • Working efficiently in fast-paced environment troubleshooting and following activities though their successful completion with strict deadlines and with attention to details;
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Efficiently work as a team member, as well as independently, with a high level of self-motivation and ability to set and met goals;
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the employment regulations and education systems in Serbia and the level of inclusion of Roma in the labour market;
  • Good knowledge of key organizations and employment networks active in the field;
  • Excellent level of computer usage proficiency;
  • Excellent command of English and Serbian (written and spoken) is a must, knowledge of Romani language is considered an added value;

Važne informacije za učenike i učenice osmog razreda

Učenike i učenice osmog razreda u narednim danima očekuje niz obaveza koje se tiču polaganja mature i upisivanja željenje srednje škole.

Naime, 1. i 2. juna se održava još jedno probno polaganje mature. U ponedeljak 1. juna, učenici i učenice osmog razreda u svojim osnovnim školama preuzimaju test iz srpskog/maternjeg jezika i kombinovani test, a zatim ih rešavaju kod kuće. Sutradan, u utorak 2. juna učenici urađene testove vraćaju, i istog dana, u školi, rešavaju test iz matematike. Na ovom probnom završnom ispitu, učenici/e i nastavnici, praktično prolaze kroz utvrđene procedure u polaganju završnog ispita, s obzirom na to da je probni završni test verna simulacija završnog ispita (vreme dolaska, potrebni pribor, postupanje i pravila pre, tokom i nakon završnog ispita, organizacija prostora i rada, uloge odeljenjskog starešine, dežurnih nastavnika, supervizora i drugo).

Zvanično polaganje mature, zakazano je za 17, 18. i 19. jun. Učenici i učenice osmog razreda završni ispit polažu u matičnoj osnovnoj školi, rešavanjem tri testa:

  • srpski/maternji jezik – 17. juna od 9 do 11 časova
  • matematika – 18. juna od 9 do 11 časova
  • kombinovani test 19. juna od 9 do 11 časova

Na osnovu ostvarenog uspeha na završnom ispitu učenik/ca može da osvoji najviše 40 bodova, odnosno najviše po 13 bodova na testu iz srpskog/maternjeg jezika i matematike i 14 bodova na kombinovanom testu.

Učenici osmog razreda će privremene rezultate završnog ispita saznati u utorak, 23. juna do 8 časova. Žalbe na rezultate završnog ispita učenici će moći da podnesu istog dana od 8 do 15 časova. Prijem i odgovore na žalbe učenici će dobiti 24. juna od 8 do 16 časova, a objavljivanje konačnih rezultata završnog ispita je 28. juna do 8 časova.

Učenici i učenice liste želja podnose u svojim osnovnim školama 29. i 30. juna od 8 do 15 časova. Liste želja biće objavljene 4. jula, kada će učenici/e moći da provere njihovu tačnost. Objavljivanje zvanične liste želja biće 5. jula do 12 časova.

Pravo na rangiranje radi upisa u gimnaziju i stručnu školu u četvorogodišnjem trajanju stiče učenik koji je ostvario ukupno najmanje 50 bodova po osnovu uspeha na završnom ispitu i opšteg uspeha od šestog do osmog razreda osnovne škole.

Zvanične rezultate raspodele kandidata po srednjim školama i obrazovnim profilima i po smerovima gimnazija objaviće osnovna škola 7. jula, a učenici i učenice obavljaju upis 8. i 9. jula od 8.00 do 15.00 časova.
