A Cooperation Agreement was signed today between Roma Education Fund branch office in Serbia and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, by which the cooperation in realization of the measures and activities necessary for the implementation of the project “Employment Empowerment of young Roma” continues.
In accordance with the signed Cooperation Agreement, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development will take over the secondary scholarship and mentorship program from Roma Education Fund branch office in Serbia and implement it within the project „Design, implementation and monitoring of the suistanable state mechanism for Roma secondary school students, scholarship program“ supported by the European Union IPA 2014 funds.
In addition, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development will, with technical and expert support of Roma Education Fund branch office in Serbia, provide necessary conditions for establishment, strengthening and sustainability of program for drop-out prevention of Roma secondary school students.
