Member of REF Serbia team since April 2016.During her studies, as a debater of Faculty of Political Sciences Debate Club and NGO “Open Communication”,
Zorana Tomic participated in many regional and international tournaments. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Journalism and Communication studies in 2015 and obtained a MA degree in Political Violence and State in 2017 at the same Faculty.
Member of REF Serbia team since October 2017. Fatima Kamberovic had the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of life of Roma within her consultant engagement in the project “Technical Assistance for Roma Inclusion”
implemented by the OSCE Mission to Serbia.
She was an intern at the Office for Human and Minority Rights of the Government of the Republic of Serbia within the Professional Practice Programme for National Minorities Youth. She graduated from the Faculty of Management, University in Niš and gained her first volunteering experiences during secondary school.
Member of REF Serbia team since November 2017. Aleksandar Jovanovic is a founder of the NGO Vojvodinian Roma Center for Democracy,
where he gained experience in working with Roma community, especially in the field of education. He was a Project manager of the Roma Versitas Program since 2009 until 2017 and first to introduce the Barvalipe school in Serbia. He graduated from Advanced School for Educators in Vršac.
Member of REF Serbia team since February 2017. Sanela Bahtijarevic gained her experience in research work by being engaged on projects dedicated to the promotion of social protection,
minority and human rights. During her studies, she was active in NGOs dedicated to minority rights protection, such as being intern for the OSCE Mission to Serbia. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences, Department International Relations and entered MA in International Studies – International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Law.
Member of REF Serbia team since February 2018. As most valuable working experiences Tanja Jovanovic points out internship at human rights organization Civil Rights Defenders
and researcher within the “Reclaiming Adolescence Project” by Center for Interactive Pedagogy. Her first experiences as volunteer at UNICEF and Drop in shelter for children who live and/or work on the street she gained while attending Fifth Belgrade High School. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences, Journalism and Communication Department.
Jelena Bojić Lutiger
Member of REF Serbia team since October 2017. Jelena Bojic cooperated with a number of women's organizations, including the Incest Trauma Center
, in whose film “It’s New that I’m Abused” has played a significant role as a direct participant, as well as in raising funds for filming. Her volunteering experiences she gained at the NGO Children’s Roma Center through field work. Primarily she was a project educator, supporting Roma children in education, and also workshops facilitator on domestic violence, health and social care, providing support to Roma who are HIV/AIDS positive, through counseling and prevention measures. After graduating from high school, she enrolled the Faculty of Biology, module Ecology.
