A meeting was organized with civil society organizations with which Roma Education Fund Representative office in Serbia has established cooperation. At this meeting, representatives of these organizations were introduced with the Rulebook on joint performance.
The meeting begun with presentation of results of the project first phase “Promoting the employability of young Roma”. The role and significance of partner civil society organizations, their activities in the local community of great value for the successful realization of project activities were emphasized. Representatives of civil society organizations then had the opportunity to exchange their experiences during work on project activities – they highlighted successes, described the barriers they encountered during motivating and including young Roma as well as potential employers, in project activities. By the end of the meeting, they jointly came up with recommendations for further improvement of their work on implementation of project activities, and some of those recommendations are:
– Include successful project beneficiaries during motivation of new ones
– To use project material during communication with potential employers
– To find a way in cooperation with international organizations to provide necessary equipment for beneficiaries with completed vocational training
The meeting was concluded with presentation of the Rulebook on joint performance, which adequately regulates already established cooperation between Roma Education Fund Representative office in Serbia and partner civil society organizations during the implementation of project activities.
