Roma Education Fund Branch Office in Serbia has, for second year in a row, participated in multi congress – Serbian Visions.
Activities and results of „Employment Empowerment of young Roma“ project financed by KfW Development bank, has been presented.
The project Serbian Visions is designed as a specific concept of gathering civil society organizations, professional and other associations, institutes and institutions as well as businesses. The aim of organizing the only multi congress in Serbia – Serbian Visions – is strengthening the role of civilian movements within the country as well as creating a more favorable economic environment by emphasizing important country-development activities.
After presented activities of the implementing project, REF project team has pointed out results within each of three project components.
More than 15 participants attended the Presentation and were very interested to hear the project results, as well as to ask questions. Having in mind that the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia has taken over the implementation of Secondary scholarship and mentorship program starting from school year 2018/19, questions of the participants were mostly related to this transfer. They were interested how was project implementation going by REF Serbia, and how will it be implemented in the future by the Ministry of Education.
