Preparations for the first online trial high school graduation exam

Preparations for the first online trial high school graduation exam

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development collects information from the principals of primary schools on the number of eighth grade students who need a suitable device (phone, tablet or computer) or internet connection in order to be able to take a small test at a distance.

After the submitted information, everything will be done to provide those students with the necessary technical support.

Eighth grade students will also be offered with printed version of tests, ensuring full coverage of a generation of eighth grade students taking the matura test.

The purpose of the test is to self-assess the completeness of the curriculum in the subjects covered by the matura exam, to plan additional support for students in the areas they had difficulties in learning, and to use so far achieved results of digitalization in the education and public administration system to provide eighth grade students with opportunity to practice and prepare for the matura exam even in the state of emergency.
